On Friday, the 28th of March 2025 we attended the open door days of our member Blachere Illumination – Gospodari svjetla.
They are the ones that bring light to numerous cities in Croatia and the region, especially during the holiday season, and they also illuminate shopping centers, as well as various events that they bring to a new level with their light installations.
Their open door days were officially closed with a reception and a panel discussion where the attendees had the opportunity to hear the creative director and co-owner of Gospodari svjetla Ana Fresl, the founder and director of Women’s Weekend and co-owner and director of Prime Time communications Nevena Rendeli Vejzović, and a well known Croatian architect Otto Barić.
Director Ana Fresl looked back at the very beginnings of the company, which has since developed into a regional leader, with projects in more than 250 cities and municipalities in Croatia and the region. Ms. Rendeli Vejzović spoke from her own experience and highlighted the importance of light in creating an atmosphere, and Mr. Barić emphasized the indispensable role of light in architecture and space planning.
