The French-Croatian Chamber of Commerce and Industry was a proud co-organizer of the conference SIGURNOST 24: Innovations in the field of security and artificial intelligence, held on October 1, 2024, at the Westin Hotel in Zagreb. The event was organized by the University of Applied Sciences in Security and Safety (VSS), with the co-organization of SSBM Geneva and our Chamber.
The conference, opened by the Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Butković, brought together many high-ranking guests and leading experts in the field of security, who shared their knowledge and experience about the key challenges and opportunities in this rapidly growing sector. Among them were renowned companies such as Eccos inženjering, Securitas Hrvatska, Atlantic Grupa, Orbico, Končar and Privredna banka Zagreb. Special emphasis was placed on the potential and challenges in the application of artificial intelligence in the context of security. Topics discussed included: preventing cyberattacks with the help of artificial intelligence, fighting terrorism and counter-terrorism, occupational safety, environmental protection and fire protection.
